The off-season for motorcycle riders can seem to drag on forever so we’ve come up with some tips for some of the best things you can do during the off-season!
Keep up with your safety, maintenance, and motorcycle insurance during the off-season with these helpful tips!
3 Off-Season Tips
1. Safety
Since you aren’t riding your motorcycle very often in the off-season, it’s a great time to brush up on your safety habits and keep them fresh in your mind for the start of the new season. Reading through some motorcycle safety tips or even taking a safety riding course are great ways to keep on top of these habits in the off-season.
2. Maintenance
While you’re keeping your motorcycle off the road and in the garage this winter, you might as well tune it up and get any work done on it that you’ve been wanting or needing to do. Taking your motorcycle for a tune-up before the motorcycle season starts is one of our favourite safety tips as it confirms that everything is in ideal condition for the roads!
3. Insurance Tips
We suggest keeping your motorcycle insurance on during the off-season even if you don’t ride it as motorcycle insurance can cover theft, damage, and other issues. It’s always often cheaper for you than to continue to add and remove your motorcycle insurance throughout the on and off-seasons. Another great tip is to review your motorcycle insurance during the off-season so you can make any necessary changes while you have some extra time on your hands!
