One of the quickest, easiest, and most important things you can do to get your motorcycle ready for winter riding is to ensure all the fluids are topped up. You should change your oil and oil filter and top up your antifreeze.
Tip 2: Maintenance Check
Here is a list of some elements of your motorcycle you will want to ensure are in good working condition and ready for winter riding:
- Battery and terminals
- Electrics – examine for breaks, fraying, or damage
- Clutch cable
- Brakes

If there is anything about your motorcycle you have been concerned about or you have noticed may need some fixing, this is the time to do it! Getting your motorcycle repaired before you go out riding this winter will help keep you and others safe on the road and it will also likely save you money, as the damage won't get worse from the winter weather.
