Saturday, May 1, 2021, is the 15th Annual International Female Ride Day (IFRD). It's the largest, women-only motorcycle event in the world.
International Female Ride Day is a global motorcycle campaign that was designed for female motorcyclists who own, ride or consume themselves with anything motorcycle related.
Awareness and Empowering Women
This female-powered ride is extremely influential. Each year, more women get involved and share their immense passion, ability, enthusiasm, and involvement in the motorcycling and motorsport community. This worldwide unified presence further demonstrates that regardless of age, culture, and diversities, women also enjoy motorcycling.
IFRD Founder Vicki Gray explains, “this is the world’s largest and only women’s motorcycle rider event which is synchronized across all borders, includes all brands and expands the perceptions of motorcycling for women.”
How It Began
The concept of IFRD was developed by Vicki Gray, owner, and founder of Motoress and motorcycling advocate.

The day was born with the purpose of emphasizing the fact that many women ride and enjoy motorcycling at all levels. My initiative of implementing a day where female motorcyclists simply got on their motorcycles and rode would truly underline this fact.

They further explain, “Various forms of motorcycles you’ll see included as small silhouettes within the image. This emphasises the fact that International Female Ride Day© is an inclusive event and for all motorcycle types, all brands and all forms of riding.”
