#1 Hawaii
We all know that Hawaii is beautiful and the best island to ride on is Kauai, which is the least populated island. There is about 100 miles of paved road and you can even rent a motorcycle. The best part is the 20-mile run up the Waimea Canyon where you can reach a 4000-foot lookout in the Kokee State Park. The morning is the best time for this ride so you can avoid tourists. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery in the company of your ride buddies or all by yourself.
#2 Nova Scotia
Our second pick is a little closer to home! The looping drive around the Cape Breton Highlands National Park called the Cabot Trail is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind ride. There’s no doubt that Cape Breton should be on your motorcycle ride bucket list, but make sure when you go that the weather conditions are good and safe because the loops and curves can get dangerous in winter driving.
#3 California
Big Sur Highway is a ride you don’t want to miss out on! It’s found between Cambria and Carmel and is good to ride at any time of the year. On one side you'll see beautiful mountains and on the other side you will have a gorgeous view of the ocean. Of course, if you want to admire the view fully, we suggest taking some stops along the way to be able to take it all in.
#4 Mexico
We all know the Grand Canyon is a must-see, bucket list motorcycle destination, but the Copper Canyon in Mexico is actually bigger than the Grand Canyon. Here, you can go on an independent ride down to the town of Batipulis, or you can take part in one of the guided tours they have available for tourists. Better yet, add the Grand Canyon and the Copper Canyon to your bucket list and be sure to ride them both!
#5 New Zealand
Any location within New Zealand is a beautiful sight to see. For our motorcycle lovers, we suggest sticking to the South Island. There are few people, little traffic, wonderful roads, and a lot of beautiful scenery you won’t find anywhere else. This is a great place to go during the winter when you’re itching to get back on your bike and enjoy a nice warm, sunny ride. Add this destination to your bucket list and you'll be well travelled in no time!
