Don’t miss the 7th Annual Riders Against Hunger charity ride in support of Eden Food for Change on Saturday, August 18, 2018, in Mississauga.
ARiders Against Hungers is a well-known motorcycle ride in support of the Eden Food for Change charity. This is an annual event that takes place on the third Saturday of every August. In the first six years of this event, they have raised over $150,000 in support of the Eden Food for Change charity.
This 7th annual Riders Against Hunger event includes a 3-4 hour poker run ride that takes you on scenic routes through the west and north of the Greater Toronto Area. Every year there is a different route to show you different areas.
If you decide to participate in Riders Against Hunger you will help to put food on the table of hungry families. Every $10 that is raised the Food Bank can purchase around $45 of non-perishable items and fresh produce. Your registration fee also helps the food bank provide assistance to a family of four to eat for an entire week. If you collect $100 in pledges, this will supply food needed for a learning kitchen to process 25 family meals. If you collect $600, this will cover a month’s supply of milk and food to all families.
